Challenge

Real-estate software is one of the clearest examples of the rental trap. Listing platforms and agency CRMs typically charge per agent, per month — and hold the listings database, the agency’s core asset, inside someone else’s system. An agency that grows pays more every month for the privilege of feeding data it doesn’t own.

Approach

e-Balkan Real Estate was built as a proof of concept: a full property-listing platform demonstrating that the systems agencies rent can be owned outright. Listings, agent accounts, and search — the standard feature set — implemented on open standards, with the data model and the codebase under the operator’s full control.

It doubles as our working reference. When a prospective client asks whether the ownership model survives contact with a real product, this is the system we point to.
